Wild West

Day 3 - Morning / we are in the Wild West on trails that very few have been on. Road conditions continue to be slow because of we were told in advance that Eastern Washington would have some of the toughest roads. Trip may take me a little longer than expected. One thing you don’t have to worry about is us getting hit by cars - there are no cars where we are at. I’m glad to have Cody and Evan to ride with. Cody (with the beard) is a bicycle mechanic and Evan is a master reading electronic maps

After riding on rough roads all day on the John Wayne Trail - we finally found roads and decided to ride until late at night. It was amazing - I have never been in such silence. When a plane flew by overhead- it sounded like a train. The wagon train picture shows what these trails were made for.
